Ghana’s Independence came off on Friday 6th March 2015 at the Baba Yara
Sports Stadium where over 15,000 music loving individuals thronged the
venue to share in the Independence Day celebrations.

BHIM nation who had celebrated his birthday a day earlier stunned the
crowed with his energetic performance and was followed by Kwabena
Kwabena who nearly turned the venue into a worship arena as he did a new
rendition of his
Bue Kwan single.
One after the other, protégés of the Highgrade family, Kofi Kinaata and Kaakie took over as they performed their hit singles.
With a lot of fireworks upon his entry, Guru got the crowd
supercharged as they sang along one street jam after the other. He was
later joined by Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin.
As expected, Ghana’s number one show stopper Samini kept the crowd
moving all throughout his live performance and later made way for
Sarkodie whose entry on stage was welcomed by thundering sounds from the
various stands. Performing for the first time
Revenge of the Spartans,
Sarkodie could not hide his joy as the multitudes took over to sing the
song. With time far gone, Sarkodie intended ending his at exactly
5:30am which did not go so well with the fans as they weren’t done yet
and yearned for more.
Sarkodie however consoled the fans by performing a new song which may
be available online very soon. Freedom Concert 2015 was put together by
Xpert Consults and Reflects Ghana Limited.
