The Lizzy’s Sports Complex in East Legon, Accra was flooded with stars on Saturday, as fans finally got to watch some of their favourite music and movie stars play at the 2nd Celebrity Soccer Weekend. The event, organised by Black Avenue Entertainment and sponsored by LiveWire Events and YFM, was also held to raise funds to support to victims of the June 3 flood in Accra.
Present at the event were Blackstars’ midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, actors James Gardner, Prince David Osei,Bismark Nii Odoi aka Bismark The Joke, musicians Tinny, Shatta Wale, Trigmatic, R2bees, Cartel Big J, Kwaw Kese,D-Black, DJ Breezy, Episode, and other supporting stars.
The teams included The 4Syte Rangers, Yfm All Stars, Prince David Osei led GH Actors AllStars, Ghana DJs Team, Stonebwoy’s BHIM Nation, Tinny’s Bardman Family , D-Black’s BAM Nation, E.L’s BBNZ Live , Shatta Wale’s Shatta Movement, R2Bees Nation, Samini’s Highgrade Family and Kwaw Kese’s Mad Time F.C
Shatta Wale’s team beat Samini’s team to retain the cup.
