Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah has broken his silence for the
first since a sexually explicit leaked tape believed to have originated
from the camp of his wife, Amanda.
In the widely circulated, it was revealed that New Aston Villa signing
Jordan Ayew reportedly had a four-year affair with Mrs Amanda Acquah.
The socialite Amanda was heard on a leaked tape alleging extra marital affairs with Jordan Ayew.
Acquah has subsequently deleted pictures of himself and his beleaguered wife on his Instagram page after the tape went viral.
Amanda in the audio tape was also heard describing her husband as a
“Monkey” going on to reveal to her friend the 23-year-old was impotent.
Several Football pundits have pushed for the expulsion of Acquah and
Jordan from the team ahead of Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Rwanda,
but head coach Avram Grant included the two in his 24-man squad, saying
the issue must be treated as a “personal affair”.
The Torino enforcer who has refused to make any comment regarding the
leaked tape, has also been unusually inactive on social media following
the damning revelations.
But the 23-year-old seems to have put the whole relationship saga
behind him, breaking his silence on Friday night, with a posting on his
official Twitter page in which he expressed his excitement of
representing Ghana and relishsing the honour it brings.
He Tweeted:
"EXTREMELY excited ahead of the international week. It’s an honour & my career’s favourite, playing 4 the Black Stars
Reports say Acquah has already slapped his cheating wife with his
intention of divorcing her after she was exposed as having extra-marital
affairs with several partners."
